Refugee visa (subclass 200)

The Refugee visa (subclass 200) is for people who are outside Australia and living outside their home country and are victimized in their country. Applicant would generally need to be referred by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to the Australian Government, to be deliberated for resettlement in Australia under refugee visa. The Refugee visa (subclass 200) is a permanent visa.
